The picture book shows baby triceratops emerging from eggs. It is pictured with the craft described below

One day, a small group of tiny triceratops hatch from their warm, safe eggs, bursting into the world with wonder. As they begin to explore their surroundings, they fill the air with gentle, adorable sounds that reflect their curiosity and movements. When danger suddenly looms nearby during their adventure, mama triceratops raises her mighty sounds and fierce defenses, doing everything she can to protect her precious little ones and keep everyone safe.

Skills

Your child will have the opportunity to strengthen their phonological awareness through playful reading of different small sounds. Additionally, they will practice print awareness as they follow along with the text and accompanying pictures. This activity may also help to assess their background knowledge of sounds that dinosaurs might make.

Practices

Read - Help your little one practice their reading

Talk - Ask questions about what kind of sounds dinosaurs make
