Get Your Library Card

Fill out the form below to register for your LCPL eCard and gain access to all of Lake County Public Library's online materials!

eCards allow residents in our library district to log in and begin using library resources as soon as your application processes, even if you can't get to a branch.

An eCard will not allow you to check out print materials or other physical items, but don't worry: You can upgrade to a regular library card by bringing in a photo ID to any of our locations. If your photo ID has your current address, that's all you need. If not, please bring another piece of suitable identification (see section 5: Indiana Residency) as well.

Fill out the form below to register. The information submitted is only used for library services.

You will receive your eCard barcode via email after a pending period to validate your information. You must register with a valid email address to receive notification that your account is ready.

Please note: If you are already an LCPL cardholder, you do not need to apply for an eCard. If you do not know how to use your existing library card to access online materials, use our Ask a Librarian form to find out how!
