The Creative Arts Summit will be held at the Merrillville Branch Library on Saturday, May 30th, featuring a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, writing, photography, and more. Whether you're an artist yourself, a fan and supporter of The Arts, or just looking to be inspired, there's something for everyone at this engaging event! It's a great chance to meet new people, discover new artists, and get a taste of the creative culture in our community.

Mark your calendars and plan to join us at the library for a fun and inspiring day of art and creativity.

Location: Merrillville Branch, Main Level

Date & Time: Saturday, May 30th, 2026 | 12PM-4PM.

Apply for a Vendor/Artist Table

If you are selected to participate as a vendor, a second form will be forwarded to you for full registration and instruction on how to pay the $10 registration fee. 

You must provide samples of your work. Applications without samples will not be considered.

Vendor applications close August 20 or once the vendor hall is full. Priority will be given to early applications.

How old are you?
18+
Under 18: If selected, I understand that a parent or guardian must also sign my contract form.

Your application must include a sample of your work. Please include either a social media or web link, or upload up to six files of your work. We will not consider the application complete without either a link or attached samples.

File size limits:

  • Images: 25MB

Note: We are aware that after uploading multiple files the filenames appear as black on a black background. We hope to have this glitch resolved soon. In the meantime, you can use your mouse to highlight the file names to read them. We apologize for the inconvenience!

ComicFest 2026

LCPL ComicFest is a day full of excitement, adventure, and all things comic and pop culture!

ComicFest is free to attend and will be held at the Merrillville Branch September 5. We'll have a variety of activities for all ages, including:

  • Video game tournaments

  • Cosplay contest

  • Children's activity room

  • Artists, writers, and vendors selling one-of-a-kind works

  • And more!
