Long term residents of New Chicago & Lake Station will be invited to share their personal recollections of living in the area. The public is invited to attend and participate.

The New Chicago Chronicles is an oral history video archive project. We will create a video record of residents' recollections of life in New Chicago and Lake Station that can be stored for public access at the Lake County Public Library and with the towns. The New Chicago Chronicles is sponsored by New Chicago Parks and Recreation in collaboration with Area Career Center in Hammond Radio/TV production program students.
