Short Film Screenwriting Workshop

Led by Oliver Staton, this session will included a discussion of Foundation elements, moving into Building the Story and offering practical examples of how to use these techniques.

Oliver William Staton is an independent filmmaker based in Northwest Indiana. Raised between Japan and the U.S., Oliver brings a sensitivity to cultural diversity and a keen curiosity for exploring the human experience with both depth and humor. His latest film, Places We Knew, premiered at the Academy Award-and BAFTA-qualifying Indy Shorts Film Festival.
