Highland, Indiana

Highland was officially made a town in 1910, but many called it home from the mid-1800s. With the development of the railroad industry in Northwest Indiana, Highland began to grow and became an appealing location particularly for agriculture businesses.

Today, downtown Highland is a lovely place to visit to take in the architecture, local shopping, and of course the wonderful public library. You can learn more about Highland's history by visiting the Highland Historical Society!
